We have had many RCDP families that have lost their precious children along the way. As parents of a child with a fatal disorder you know the inevitable must happen.However, you never want that day to come.
We would like to use this page to remember our friends that have left us here on Earth and went to a much better place. Those children are now able to stand, run, jump, talk, eat, sing, and play. We wish they never had to leave us, but they couldn’t be in better hands.
We know their heavenly Father is taking care of them until we meet them again one day. Keep these families in your prayers as they have experienced something no family should have to.
Our little boy Ian met the eyes of Jesus on October 9, 2009 one week shy of his 2nd birthday. When Ian was born we weren’t given much hope about the quality of life Ian would have. However, Ian had a life full of love and happiness with more accomplishments than we ever imagined. Because of Ian Ellis Rhizo Kids International was born and many lives were changed. There has been a lot of money raised and donated for RCDP research in memory of Ian in the hopes for a treatment or cure for RCDP children. We love you Ian and we miss you more each and every day!!! Because of the hope of Heaven we will see you again real soon…love you sweet angel boy!

We wish he were here to play with a toy.
Jesus took his little right hand,
Who knew that was his early plan.
Bobby would have been one this year,
He was so cute, loving, and so dear.
He is healthy happy, and pain free,
This was Jesus’ plan, so let it be.

A Birthday Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father
We so badly want to see, and hold our little boy, but we know you sent him to us for a purpose, and you took him for a reason; he is now healthy and happy. We think of him every day, but today would have been a very special day, watching him dig into his birthday cake, and make a big mess. Please continue to give us the strength, comfort, and love you have given our family. This lonely road will always be hard, until we see our little angel again.
He was so precious. We thank you for giving Bobby to us for the short time he was here. Please remember us on this special day, what would have been our son’s first birthday. In His Love, Amen

Heaven’s Very Special Child
A meeting was held quite far from earth
“It’s time again for another birth,”
Said the angels to the Lord above,
“This special child will need much love.
His progress may seem very slow
Accomplishments he may not show
And he’ll require extra care
From the folks he meets way down there.
He may not run or laugh or play
His thoughts may seem quite far away
In many ways he won’t adapt.
And he’ll be known as handicapped.
So let’s be careful where he’s sent
We want his life to be content.
Please, Lord find the parents who
Will do a special job for You.
They will not realize right away
The leading role they’re asked to play
But with this child sent from above
Comes stronger faith and richer love.
And soon they will know the privilege given
In caring for this gift from Heaven
Their precious charge, so meek and mild
Is Heaven’s very special child.”

A Poem for Cameron
In a special castle, just beyond our eyes,
Our baby plays with angel toys that money cannot buy.
Who are we to wish that you had known this world of strife?
Now play on our sweet angel, you have eternal life.
At night, when all is silent and sleep forsakes our eyes
We’ll hear your tiny footsteps come running to our side,
Your little hands will touch us, so tenderly and sweet
We’ll breathe a prayer and close our eyes
And embrace you in our sleep.
Feelings we will treasure,
Sometimes they’ll make us sad,
Because our special little boy

Joshua Passed This Way Today
From the moment of conception,
Until just two days ago,
God knew that he was special,
